I'm a Self Learner and i need some Advice in 3DS Max

Hello EveryOne ,

I'm Working on 3DS Max On almost for a year now .. I'm totally self thought and

I've followed lot of tutorials ..

But my problem is that i dont know a way to practice things ..

I can see the tutorial follow it and do similarly and also equally well

but my 3d modelling skills arent developing .. Even now when i sit down to do

something new .. I'm stuck .. I've no idea how to start or what so ever .. EVen if

i get the idea the way my model looks is totally different from what i'm expecting

it to be ....

It's not that i'm bad at modelling basics.. I can use almost all the general tools

needed and i know all the techniques ... I just cant find a way to practice proper content.

and my main aim is to Make Models for games

Thanks in Advance to the Replies 🙂

It would help me alot

I have spent past 10 years learning maya and max through google and sleepless nights. What I have found is that I can play in maya, as far as have an idea start messing and end up with the model i was hopeing for. Max (at least for me) required planning out how I was going to model from start to finish. My advise would be take classes for max or watch more tutorials that go from concept to model - Digital Tutors is good. Or give maya a try was easier for me to pick up than max.
