Extruding a complicated spine errors

Hi everyone,

I’ve got an issues with a road structure I’m tiring to model in 3ds Max 2010.

The road has been model with spines over the top of a AutoCAD plan (the CAD plan wasn’t good enough to use) but then I come to extrude it keeps bring in errors as shown

Each section is a closed spine with no un-connecting parts, but I can’t get it to work.

Any help would be great cheers

Si

Break it up into more manageable sections. It's a known issue/limitation with complex splines - Extrude, Bevel, even Convert to Poly have trouble with them.

Here is a similar thread about this issue.

Max 2016 (SP1/EXT1)
Win7Pro x64 (SP1). i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX11.
nVidia GTX760 (2GB) (Driver 430.86).

Spot on cheers, i tried splitting it into 3 sections, looks like it needs braking down even more. Cheers
