Clean up overlap

Ive got the circlr tibes were and how i want them but know ive got this little nub from the circle tube in the other tube, how do i clean that up so that the little nub isnt there anymore

you should have extruded from a linear curve and a circle curve instead of trying using 2 cylinders...you could however put an edge loop at the end , select the very end row of vertices on the edge and scale it down to hide inside the other cylinder.

there's tons on tutorials on the net as well as Maya help files....you gotta learn how to find this simple stuff on your own, this is quite simple and basic.
