Larger Mockups test

I did a small test with the "Front Loader" dataset from Inventor (around 4000 parts). The time to generate the file for upload was 5 min. - this is fast ! When the file is in A360 then you are able to view the mockup.

The graphic performance is not so perfect - also the geometry does not look nice. In Navisworks it is better (same file). Zoom and scroll is not possible - the model disappear all the time.

In the mockup environment, we need better performance (the best of Navisworks will be the minimum).

Yes, LOD and other possibilities will help to get faster models, but does a normal Mockup User spend time to clean up files? What is with large STEP files - there is no way to make them smaller.

Thanks for your testing.

Currently, there is an open issue in our internal issue tracking system that the model does not display well when upload to mockup from Inventor, and it is a datasets specific issue.

Can you please try other files?

And I totally agree that we need to try best to make the performace as nice as possible:)
