Using parameters in assembly

I wonder if there is a way to create some kind of global variable that affects the parameters in parts in an assembly?

Thanks

Hi,

You may use AMVARS command to create Global Variables in MDT 2009.  Please find attached sample drawing with a sub assembly of 2 parts.

Command: amvars>>Switch to Global Tab>>Change the value of "Driveme" variable.  The whole assembly updates.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
