I thought I would bring this conversation back to the NG. Did you say that
the corruption in my files was coming through from MDT6?

We now have the exact same problem in a file created completely in 2004.
However, we do have a template with base component definitions in it. We use
these base components to start all (most of) our new parts. This template is
migrated from MDT6, and probably MDT5 before that.

My first plan is to re create those base components in a "from scratch" 2004
session. However, It would be nice to know if you think this will fix the
problem.
