MDT6 SP2 Extrusion not true to Z plane

Please take a look in customer files under same subject. ExtrusionBlind3
does not appear to follow the Z axis.

Thank you, Ray

Did you REGEN the model space? I don't see what is wrong with it...Can you
explain alittle more?

Derek, please take a look in customer files. I posted a new file that should
explain what we expected to see. Thank you.

Ray

I think it is OK, just a bit of a optical illusion

Look at it in plan mode and the extrusion looks right.

Ray,

Yes I agree with Kent. When I first looked at it, I was kinda confused.

Ray

I think you could have also done the cut from the top face down to the angled face and
gotten what you want.

If you look at the sketch of the first post in a iso view and start tracing out in your
mind where the cut will break thru you can see it is going to be skewed. The part of the
sketch that cuts thru the front face progressively moves over so the cut on the front face
is going to be angled.
What I am having a hard time getting my head around is that in Plan view it looks like the
cut is perfectly vertical.

Just figured it out by shading in plan and slowly using 3d rotate. It is a pretty good
eye twister. 8^)

Well That worked Kent. Please take a look at the new file in customer files.
I now understand what is going on with the model. It was a little confusing
at first. Thank you. 8^)
