MDT2004 is Dropping me to the Desktop

Is anyone else having MDT2004 drop them to the desktop...I've had this
happen a few times within the last week, seemingly at random, but each time
(to the best of my recollection) it was after trying to double click on
something...I'm running Win2000Pro (updated to latest SP) on a P4 2ghz PC,
1gb memory, 40mb HD, Nivida MX400 32mb video card, and a MS mouse.

Thanks,

The problem is probably with the 40mb harddrive. You're out of disk space.
:)

When this happens, does the error reporting dialog appear? Can you check
your drive to see if there is an acad.err file with a recent date? If so
open it in a text editor and see if there are any entries dated around when
you last saw this problem.

OOPS...There I go getting my "mega" and "gega" wrong...I have a 40 Gegabyte
HD...I only have 6 Gb used, so space is no problem...I checked and there are
no ".err" files on my HD...When this DTD happened I didn't get the error
reporting dialog, nothing.

Thanks,
Chris

We call it "Power Exit" it has happened with every MDT that we've had (for years). No error explaination just all of a sudden the desktop is there and no Mechanical Desktop.

2 today and 2 yesterday.  At least the
autosave doesn't cause fatal errors on my PC anymore.  And yes, I have lost
of drive and memory.

Can you give us more detailed system specs
-

Computer/motherboard

processor

Installed memory

hard drive type and size

graphics card

Operating system/service pack

MDT version(s) and service pack.

Is this happening at random or are there one or two
files that seem to be causing problems?

Do you have audit control set to
always?
