using 3D constraints in MDT4, how do you set a specific anchoring point for
all the constraints. When adding constraints, PART A moves toward PART B.
However, I would like to have PART A as my 'base' or 'reference' and have PART
B move toward PART A. This tends to happen with all types of constraints, but
the ANGLE constraint seems to give the most problems. I can start an assembly
oriented to the WCS. I can insert a STEP part and it can be oriented at some
random angle to the WCS. When I constain the inserted part to the original
assembly, the original assembly will move and orient itself to the inserted
STEP part. At that point I have an assembly as some random orientation
relative to the WCS. I have used the ALIGN command to get things back to a
somewhat square orientation, but everything shifts if additional constraints
are added.
