Maya LT Licensing Options and Feature Extensions

Hi, I wanted to clarify the licensing options and benefits for people considering Perpetual Licenses.

There are currently two ways to buy Maya LT, "Desktop Subscription" and "Perpetual License"

When you buy Desktop Subscription this is like renting, you pay for the time you use the application, per month, per year, and you will get every Maya LT Extension and new version as they are released.  This is also what you get when you get it through Steam.

If you get a Perpetual License you get a license forever for the version of the product released that year, E.G. Maya 2016.  If you get the optional "Subscription", sometimes called "Maintenance Subscription" you will get the extensions for that year as they come out.  

If you do not get the extra subscription with Maya LT perpetual license you will not get the extensions for that year which have added features, although you will still have access to the service packs which have bug fixes.

I just wanted to put that info out there so everybody can make an informed choice.  We want to support our users and don't want to surprise anyone if they choose an option where they do not have access to the extensions.
