Hi. It's better to put the update and uninstall below the About Maya (or About Any Autodesk Product) instead of a separate update app like that update notifier on Windows. When there's an update and upgrade you'll just see it on the upper left flashing that there's an update. This should go for all products and in all platforms, especially OS X.

The update button could also be in Help menu but most apps have it below their About menu. This is helps standardization for all apps in all companies not just for Autodesk products so that the GUI are consistent for all apps, for every companies. A great standardization is always good for any industry.

Thank you.

God bless. Proverbs 31

Hi. Like software for gaming mice, Maya LT, Stingray and all of Autodesk's products should have a really extensive customizable setting for the mouse/input device so that you can say map a locked alt/option key in say the back button of your mouse- you click that and it locks the alt/option so you can easily zoom, rotate the object, pan, etc.

Sometimes it's more productive and you don't get tired easily when you have the most used controls all in the mouse, with one hand you're not limited to long periods of being in one position with your other hand always on the keyboard. Combo key driven apps like Maya, Stingray and most Autodesk products. Most gaming mouse have lots of keys things can be mapped to (like mice built for RPG).

Thank you. God bless. Rev. 21:4
