Edge extrude (Shift+drag)!!!, Maya LT 2016

Hello! Autodesk

I'm just wondering where is the Shift+drag for edge extrude, did you delete it in maya LT 2016?? Because the shift+drag=edge extrude option that was present in the 2015 manipulator is gone, because that thing made edge modeling workflows so fast.

So Please bring it back

Hi there, this was removed when we fully integrated the modeling toolkit.  We are looking at how to bring it back in the future.

Thanks,

Remi

I hope it will be back soon! I really have no clue how to 3D without it. 😞

You remove 2 of the most nice and important feature for modeling on Maya 2016. What's the F***

1 - Impossible to perfom a Slide using "Ctrl+Shift+ Midle Mouse CLick" like before

2 - Remove de Edge Shift Extrude.

3 - A lot of minors bug on tools that work well before.

Wow, what's an awesome evolution, thx Autodesk Team. Please don't tell me that the XSI and NEX developper that do that!

Oh yes, Bevel is a lot better with non triangle.

Thanks for letting us know the issues you are having.

We are always trying to do our best to provide the best experience for our users.

This last year our modeling developer team was working a lot on integrating the modeling tools together so that we could have a cohesive experience, and not have to jump in and out of NEX.  At the same time since we had to touch a lot of things we could not address everything we wanted to for this release like the issues you mention.  We will do our best to address these issues so that we can have the best modeling experience possible, thanks for understanding.

It's a good point that Autodesk Employer look at feedback and awnser.

Please understand that if I'm quite disappointed with Maya 2016 modeling tools it's because I use really like modeling in Maya and use it every day. I had high expectations for 2016, I am completely disappointed.

Ok, I can understand. If this feature will be back on next release it's not a problem. But if there completly replace, it's quite a bad things.
