Can't select Other Surface under Transform Constraints in Modeling Toolkit

Hello, 

Please forgive me if this was already answered (I tried looking but couldn't find anything), but when using the Modeling Toolkit, under Transform Constraints, I don't have an option to choose Other Surface. All I can do is Edge slide and Surface Slide. Is there a way to choose another object?

Maya LT does support this, from what this page says. But it's not working for me. I have Maya LT 2015 SP 1 which I'm sure is completely up to date. So, yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is no longer the workflow in Maya LT. If you want to constrain to another mesh, now you need to select that mesh and enable the Make Live option for it in the top menu bar. It is the icon that looks like a magnet at the very top.

Or, you can right click on the mesh and choose Make Live.
