Maya suddenly won't save scene?

I've previously saved my scene. I was working on the UV's and textures and testing them out. When I went to save the scene, Maya suddenly came up with an error saying it could not save it? This has never happened before and I have no idea why.

Can anyone else me?

I've tried saving it as an ASCII file as well but that didn't work either... 😕
