Maya outliner is not showing object's name

Maya outliner is not showing object's name,
when double click on object , it shows the name

I have the same issue. Did you find a fix?  If not, what gives with this community? I mean this long and no answer?

This looks like corrupted preferences, try to reset them and it should return to normal behavior......hopefully..

I ended up having to reinstall it to fix it.  That introduced its own issues, so even getting the app installed is a hassle now it seems.  Thanks for the tip though!

I was trying to increase Maya menu font size, that was creating problem.

So go blind or have no names in Outliner.  If only Maya was made by Adobe.

it also happened to my graph editor, I wonder what other maya windows might be affected. I also tampered with the maya string file for bigger fonts, still have the original, thou, in case is too annoying... I hope they come up with a solution for UI size vs screen resolution without this being the result...
