Maya 2015 spacebar issue

Hello,

I have just installed Maya 2015 cause my team decided to switch from 14 to 15, However I have ran into a problem. 

When I want to switch from perspective to any orthographic view I always use the space bar (Left-Click on 'maya' to switch to another view) but it doesn't work anymore. It's really annoying since I use it all the time and it's slowing me down right now. (Cause of it being a reflex I keep on trying to switch views this way but cause it's not working I end up hitting wrong keys).

Anyone out there that has the same issue and managed to fix this?

(works fine on my desktop but not on my laptop)

I have installed the latest hot fixes for maya 2015, installed the latest videocard drivers and running the latest windows version (8.1).

Laptop spec;

Aspire V3 - 772G

Intel i5-4200M (2,5 / (3,1boost) GHz) 
Nvidia GT 750M
8gb ram

Hi I had the same problem. I figured it happens only in my second monitor. When I move maya to the first monitor, the menu does not offset. I hope this helps.
