Joints display broken viewport 2.0

Hey ya'll, I've recently ran into this issue where joints look wonky when you switch to viewport 2.0. I'm not sure if its something I updated recently, because it wouldn't happen before. I found temp solutions to this, but I'm wondering if anyone has a permanent fix? The issue is both 2014 and 2016 for me.

In 2014, while in viewport 2.0, you go to the v 2.0 options and change the transparency algorithm, weighted average fixes it, but when you switch back to object sorting (the default setting) it'll break again.

In 2015, again in viewport 2.0, you can go to the joint attribute editor, and under display, check hide on playback to fix the joints again.  Anyone know if theres a fix incoming for this?

Very annoying, but a very easy fix. Here:

Windows -> Settings/Preferences -> Preferences -> Display

In the bottom of the "Display" options, change rendering engine to "DirectX" instead of "Open F** GL"...

Hope this helps.

If you have an nVidia card and you updated your drivers recently, it's most likely the problem. A lot of people are reporting the same issue. Apparently rolling back to your previous working version seems to fix it.

Correct pshwayka. I've read that too. Changing the rendering engine of viewport 2.0 to directx instead of opengl works like a charm.
