I have a detailed mine shaft 7 deck stage done in AutoCAD Structural detailing that we would like to import into maya in order ot ceate a animation movie of how we sink and equip a mine shaft? this is already a 3d model will everything right down to the nuts bolts and washers.
I know that you can import an autoCad drawing into maya and curves but can you do that with a full 3d model..
