Help! Fatal error in Mental Ray renderer

Hello,

I encouter an error in Mental Ray using Autodesk Maya 2015.

When i try to render a mesh with a texture attached to it, The renderer only gives a blue screen and is done rendering within 1 or 2 seconds.

I have made a screenshot with an example. (Just a cube i assigned to a material) It shows the scene, the renderer and my script editor. 

I tried deleting my maya version file (C:\Users\user\Documents\maya\2015-x64)

I also tried reinstalling Maya but nothing seems to help.

Has anyone else encoutered the same problem and does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello, I am getting crazy having the exact same issue. It used to work but for some reason it started to give a blue screen after saying it was rendering for about 5 seconds, and starngely enought, IPR render works! I am on a schedule and tried everything I could.

My computer is a 2013 Mac Pro

Quad Core Intel Xeon E5-1620 v2

Dual AMD FirePro D300 Graphics cards

12 GB of 1866 MHZ ECC Ram

If you reboot your computer and open the scene and try rendering again, do you still get the error?  I've had something as simple as rebooting fix probems with Maya/Mental Ray...
