Dual Monitor refreshing issues

I've got a QuadroFX4600,
I'm having issues with the hypershade and render window not refreshing on my second monitor.
So basically i'm confined to work on one monitor.

Any one got any suggestions?
I've noticed this same problem from version 8

What driver are you using? Are you using the Maya global 3D setting preset in the Nvidia Control Panel? What resolution are you running with?

I've now downloaded the latest driver as of Nov '08,
set nvidia's global 3D preference to app specific and it seems to be good for now.
I'm running 1920x1200 on both screens.

Thanks

Does Maya have an option to use directx or openGL?

Or does it defualt to it's best guess dependent on your graphics card?

Maya is an OpenGL application. There is no native DirectX support within Maya. Maya supports HLSL shader displays within the default Maya viewport with a plug-in. . These are, however, natively rendered composited images displayed through OpenGL.

Cheers
