Warning: Nucleus evaluation skipped

everytime i run one of the maya 2012 tutorial animations i get extreme lag, and a yellow bar at the bottom saying

Warning: Nucleus evaluation skipped, frame change too large

can anyone help?

go to your preferences and change you playback speed to play every frame (instead of pal or ntsc or whatever you have)

its because if its not playing everyframe, it cant calculate correctly...

lol completely depends on your doing, your machine etc

tone down the calculations that need to be done, or even just the heavy ones (collision etc)

basically, optimise your scene just for what you need to do.

or (unless i misunderstood you)

change your MAX playback speed to real time
