VIEWS not a wish but a necessity

Until enterprise supports views in MS-SQL etc it will NEVER come close to it's potential. Autodesk really need to focus on the basics before worrying about all the fancy stuff.
How many serious applications have all their data in a single table and never need to extract a combination of data to display on a map ???

Views are possible, they just require a bit of manual XML entry to get them
working. Dave Wilson posted a workaround in the Enterprise forum about 6
months ago. Regardless, I have found that the performance of ODBC in
MapGuide just isn't good enough to be useful.
