I have had fits trying to get MGE2009 installed and working. I had to backup and move the repositories, setup indices, erase the "empty repositories" in MGE2009, and then upgrade the old ones... okay, enough already. Couldn't you come up with a better installation routine? How about asking the user some questions? Questions like: Is an older version of MapGuide Enterprise installed on this computer? Do you wish to use an existing map? If Y, do wish to use one of the new flexible web layouts? If Y, please select one. etc... Or, better yet, how about just one: The installer has found a previous version of MapGuide Enterprise, do you wish to upgrade it to MGE2009? and then it does everything needed.
I guess that I will EVENTUALLY get it to work...
