Steve,
Did you do a update to the Inventor assembly that you inserted in to Publisher? This is an icon that tells you which components were updated/deleted. These should how ever go away on ipb save. Do you still see them after a save?
I did many time and the update go thru ok.
I think the icon that has the X infront that is the file that I deleted from Inventor.
The file icon has the pen infornt I think it need update and I try update the file many time but it not go away.
the other icon has * infront I am not sure what is it yet.
Thanks
P.s I think if I use the IP 2012 then I can replace the file with another file then this issue may go away.
IP 2012 has the feature to replace the existing file with another file from another location.
This replace feature is good and it work better than update.
Steve,
You are right. The files that have the X means that the file has been deleted. The other icon means that this particular component has been changed. The * icon means these components did not go through any change. All these icons are temporary after an Inventor update. They should go away once you save the IPB file. Do they?
Thanks
After I hit save the file then all icon back to normal and the deleted file with an X all gone and the IP file look the same as the Inventor .iam
Thanks for helping
