I'm trialing Inv Publisher 2012 and when you output to any other format file the publish area and background settings you have for the snapshots are respected. However, when you output to a mobile device, the background is always grey(ish) and the entire screen area (at the current resolution) is exported.
This is not cool.
Is this a known bug or an intentional feature (and if so why!?)...
The Publish Area is only supported currently for print and video formats (Word, Powerpoint, PDF 2D, Image and AVI). It is not supported for 3D output formats (DWF, 3D PDF and Mobile). We are aware of the limitation of not being able to publish the background to 3D output formats. This is on our list of things to support.
