Multiple problems

Guys,

I have been encountering lots of problems with publisher 2012.

1. Files won't save properly. Have to restart publisher after every save.

2. Computer crashers when I'm rotating view.

3. selections take forever and often crashes afterwards

4. program in general runs incredibly slow.

There are more I'm sure just can't think of all now.

FYI. All other programs such as Inventor and 3ds max run with no problems.

I am most likely returning the product as its actually costing me money trying to use this program. It slow and very annoying to use. Its hard to belive that the program runs like this on a good PC? Am I missing something?

My PC info:

HP Z800 workstation

Intel Xeon CPU E5530 @2.4GHz

12 gb ram

64 bit W7

Nvidia Quadro FX 3800

I have been having the same problems for a long time and have installed both service packs for 2012.

Hi Michael,

It sounds like the problems you are having might be attirbuted to very heavy data manipulation. How large are the assemblies that you are importing and working with inside Publisher?
