Inventor Publisher 2013; Cannot Load any New Files

I am able to open existing .ipb files and work with them normally, however, whenever I try to bring in an Inventor assembly or part, I get a hang up and eventual crash.

I have Inventor 2012 and 2013 installed and this happens with either format used in Inventor Publisher 2013.

I have Serice Pack 1 installed as well as when I installed the software I had UAC turned off.  I have run an Reinstall through the Control Panel and this has not solved the issue either.  How am I supposed to use this if I can't get an Inventor file into the storyboard?!?!?

Hello Mark,

Are you experiencing this issue after you updated to Service pack 1?

Mark,

I tried importing a few Inventor assembly files and did not have any issues. Would it be possible to pack and go a small file that you are having this issue and email it to rajkumar.ilannchelian@autodesk.com? If the file size is larger than 10MB please email me and I will send you a dropbox share to upload the file.

To be honest, its not a file issue, it happens on all files no matter their creation.  I did find a workaround in that if I already have an IPB open and then start a new document I am able to import, I just can't do it from scratch without already haveing something open.  This seems like a bug to me or a bad installer.  I sincerely doubt you can help me with getting a file set (it even happens on the Publisher sample data sets and courseware files).

About the only way you could assist at this point may be a remote desktop and inspect the issue and perhaps the installer files.

Driver Issue.  Installed new Video driver for my Quadro FX880 and it works fine now.

Thank you for your help though.
