How can I stop autoexplode from pulling apart welded assemblies and parts?

When I auto explode, Publisher even pulls apart welded assemblies.  Why? How can I stop this from happening?

This is a deficiency in the current version of Publisher, unfortunately.  Sorry.

Hi Jon...thanks.  It's really hard to sell the price of Inventor Publisher to management when there are major deficiencies in the software program.  I'm looking for a program than can automate the exploded view to save huge amounts of time.  I'm a tech writer and not a graphic artist and taking engineering data directly from the source to use in equipment manuals is time saving in itself; now, if we could only get the auto exploded view to keep welded parts together...next release perhaps?
