Some features I'd like to see in the next release.

ZoomFit should center the orbit pivot to the selected object
ZoomSelected should center the orbit pivot to the selected objects
Keyboard shortcut to set the orbit pivot e.g. shift+double click
Options to set custom keyboard shortcuts to all commands
Reversed Zoom Wheel

I never use the Navigation Wheel, I only bring it up to set the pivot which is a bit tedious.
