Direct Load of to Android Publisher App

Greetings

How does one save a local copy of the mobile export file and directly load the file onto the Android Publisher App without having to load it up online?

  • You will first need a file manager app on your android device. (Astro file manager is one of the free apps on the android market)
  • In Publisher, publish to mobile and select target location as “Save Local”
  • Connect your android device and enable USB storage – Upload the mobile file to a specific folder
  • You can also email the file and open the email on your mobile device – Save the file on to the phone - Most file browsing apps can be configured to automatically download a file when the attachment link is clicked (eg. Enable Browser Downloader option in preferences menu of Astro)
  • Open Astro and browse to the location of the file
  • Select the file and it automatically opens it in IPM Viewer

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Is there another way to load an IPM file? Like place it in a special folder??

Using ASTRO isn't working.  Smiley Mad

I'm using a Toshiba Thrive 10" Tablet, publishing from IV Publisher 2013.

Irene,

Have you actually used Publisher Viewer for Android??

Email attachment in Android most certainly doesn't work.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, it works on IOS instead of Android IPMV.

I just verfied on Android 3.0 and 4.0, the ipm can be opened directly with ASTRO, but OS 4.2 doesn' work. if the OS is higher than 4.0, please wait for our next update, which will be coming soon.

However, I searched your devices on Internet, it shows your OS is 3.2, could you please update me if it works in new version when you get it?

Thanks for your feedback.
