Associate property to a subassembly

Hi

I am currently using Publisher 2012 sp2

I am having difficulty placing a callout with an associated property onto a sub-assembly, all I can seem to do is select a part within the sub, and therefore referencing the parts property instead of the subassembly.

Is there a way to select the sub assembly and reference it's properties? If not, has this been addressed in 2013?

Hi,

In Publisher, you can select Structured option in insert options dialog when insert file. And click Parts List command in the Ribbon, in the "Create Parts List" dialog, you can choose "All Levels" or "First Level Only" sub.

It is same for PartList between 2012 and 2013
