Ok so I've made a custom appearance style, but how do I save it so I can reuse it vs. having to recreate it every time I start a new publication?

Hi Rich -
Currently, there is no way to copy custom appearance styles between projects. The custom styles that you've created are only available within the project they were created in - this is currently as-designed.

I was talking with my reseller and they suggested the following;
1. create a project with all my customizing
2. save as "template.ipb"
3. to start a new project, open "template.ipb" and save as "new_project.ipb"
4. erase all components
5. insert compoents
thoughts?
This is a viable workaround, although you dont need to insert any components/data to set up and save an IPB file. I'd suggest just to cancel out of the Insert dialog that pops up when you create a new project, and then set up the styles as you need. This way you don't run the risk of possibly mixing datasets or anything in the future.

I too think this would be a great feature for a future update.
