Tracing adaptive references

Tracing adaptive references

Inventor seems to lack the posibility to trace references internally in parts and between parts, a posibility that would increase the effectivity and usability of skeleton modelling and adaptivity substantially.

For adaptivity there are several levels of tracing that could improve the functionality. Some parts and assemblies are created adative initially, then the adaptivity is turned off. Those components will adapt if the adaptivity was turn on again on a later stage, but how can they be found?  Maybe such components should have their own icon in the browser tree - making them easier to find?

When the adaptivity is active, it should be possible to trace the referenced parts. This could be a right-click option, or it could be available information in the document settings along with the 'adaptively used in assembly' check box.

Also the adaptive references in sketches should be possible to identify down to the parent of the projected geometry; surface, edge or sketchelement. This could also be a right-click option or hover-over-tip.
