Select & Suppress links for multiple instances in a derived assembly

To the best of my knowledge, currently the only way to suppress a link of a derived solid body or composite from its base component after the instance has been derived into a target assembly is to go into edit for each part and change it at that level.

This process becomes extremely tedious and time consuming if you have 100+ derived parts in an assembly and wish to suppress all them from their base component. It would be unbelievably convenient if you could simply select the derived parts from the assembly level and have a "right-click" menu option to suppress links for all selected.

Thanks Paul, unfortunately that's what I have implemented already. Which works ( most of the time) but I am just hoping someday it could just be a limitless more intuitive with the software so a logic rule doesn't have to be referenced. Anyways thanks again for your post. Nick
