See interior faces in appearances

Before Appearances, we had Colors... We could even have "cut outs colors", and see through the part, like this :

Now, we have Appearances, and it is impossible to see through the part :

The option is still here, but the only way to activate it is to write a macro !!

So... Give us back the check box "See interior faces" in the Appearances Editor !

I don't know if this issue was purposely addressed in INV 2016, but now the reverse is true.  Starting 2016 something changed and cutout textures now show interior faces / backfaces by default, which now makes like 2000 of my parts basically obsolete unless I continue to use 2015.  I would also love, love, love the ability to decide whether or not I see the interior / backfaces when using a cutout texture applied to the entire part.  3D max has the ability to turn backface culling on or off, why can't Inventor? Cutouts in 2016 /17 just look awful.
