Project sketches by revolving them around an axis

Project sketches by revolving them around an axis

The basics of 3D modeling is extrude sketches in a linear direction or revolve sketches around an axis.

Why can we NOT do this this with Project Geometry?

Please add the ability to project sketch edges around an axis:

Why wouldn't you just work on your new sketch on the original plane of the geometry you're trying to project?

Where I currently work I draw lots of tanks with lots of nozzles.

Sometimes a nozzle might be oriented 45° ( from North), sometimes 60°, sometimes something else.

I'd like to draw all the tank nozzles in one plane and project them to the orientation they need to be on. Then it's easy to change the nozzle sizes because the master sketches are all on one plane and its very easy to change the orientation by adjusting the angle of rotation of the plane they're projected to. Is also very easy to copy that tank to become another tank with completely different nozzle orientations.

I would definitely use this, I've needed it before on multiple occasions.

Man I could have used this yesterday while working on a cylindrical part!

Could have used again today.  Would be handy.

By the way, it is crucious if you want to project a 3D Curve to a 2D sketch by rotating it about an axis.
