Pattern Instance Rotation

It would be nice if there was a feature that allowed you to ratate pattern instances. Say if do a rectangular pattern of a slot (5.5x40.5) at 100mm instances but rotate each instance angle slightly more than the previous, say a degree per instance so over 45 instances it would have rotated 45 degrees on a single vector or path.

How owuld this be different than a circular pattern?

because its a rectangular pattern with an instance revolve option not a pattern about an axis.
