Model browser can be diffucult to navigate on large assemblies. As soon as a few items are expanded, moving between higher level items on the tree is slow. Multiple collapse arrows scrolling & repeat may be necessary just to get to an item that is already close by once items are collapsed.
-When navigating to a component by number (or name) it would be convenient if you could bring the model browser to focus and start typing the number and the component (in assemblies) or feature (in parts) would be highlighted. This is similar to windows file explorer behavior in win7+. It should work at least for components or features in the first level of the tree.
-Add a buton to the model browser to "collapse all children". To do so now involves scrolling, right clicking, and selecting.
-Search feature is powerful, but clunky and sometimes slow. A simple keyword style search spanning multiple but common properties would be great. Highlight matching components and minimal expansion of deeper levels only to show highlighted matches. (Similar in behaviour to the search page feature in Google chrome, but applied to the tree including the "enter" and "shift"+"Enter" navigation.) Ideally index driven for speed.
-Sort for assembly lists. It would be nice to be able to reorganize a list by different properties (most likely name). This tend's to put similar items together that may not have been added sequentially. Right now this must be done manually.
