Making a hole circle without a sketch

Making a hole circle without a sketch

I have a idea about a hole circle. maby you guys can make a option in the hole feature/command, that allows us to make a hole circle?

Take a look at my thread here.

Thanks!

Greetings from Robert.

From the thread it sounds like what you're ultimately asking for is an "Offset" option when placing a hole using a concentric reference? If that's true it might help if Autodesk modified the Idea description to say so. This isn't something that I myself am likely to use, but others might be.

If i can program all the 10 holes in one operation, its ok with an offset. But if i can just make ONE hole, it doesnt.

Ah ok, I see what you're after. So maybe in the hole command when you choose a concentric reference, you could also opt to create a circular pattern about the concentric reference, and also pick some edge or plane as a reference for the first hole.

Exactly 🙂

Here's a duplicate of this idea: Easy creation of a bolt circle pattern using the hole feature

I think the title is a little more clear. Consider giving it a vote as well.
