Intelligent Centreline Relationships

Intelligent Centreline Relationships

.

There are times when we need to use different types of Centreline within one view.

We need an intelligent relationship between the different types of centreline when used in this way.

For example, the spacing of the short dash within the chain must be maintained when two centreline types are dragged to meet each other.

When a Centre Mark is extended, we must have the Option of gaps/short dashes in included automatically.

Possibly the easiest way of achieving this is through a control in the Options where the user/CAD Manager can control the extents to which a chain-line can be extended before another dash and two gaps are inserted. Between the extremities of the centre-line, it can be adjusted to give a good appearance.

We also need control over the length of the end segments of the chain-line.
