Improvements for breakouts in sections needed.

This is a long-time issue, but IMO it’s urgently needed.

With Inventor 2015 I can’t get acceptable results, major rework is needed with ACADM.

I believe it would be possible to achieve what you are after, although a slightly long winded process. Any component or part can be excluded from a section (such that it is not sectioned) using the option below in document settings

That's right, but you can't add a breakout to those non-sectioned parts.

You could work around by placing an IDW Sketch over it, and hatching. But that's not associative with any changes

This has been implemented in Inventor 2023.1, and you can review more details in the Help page.

Looking back at this problem, because of looking for long-lasting themes (more than 10 years of age).
There's still no acceptable solution. Standard parts in the breakout should be not included in sectioning; they should be shown non-sectioned.
