Hide extension for diameter dimension in drawings

I can hide the extension lines for linear dimensions, why not for diameter dimensions?

Hi,

As far as i know there is no way to edit the dimension itself, but there is a way around I use.

Create a sketch, project the geometry you would like to annotate, draw a circle, exit sketch, insert your dimension.

It should now look something like this.

Capture1.PNG

Go into the sketch again and click the circle and then select "Sketch Only"

Capture3.PNG

Finish sketch.

You should now have a dimension that looks as you want and it will update if the dimension of the part changes.

Enjoy!
