'CTRL+Enter' when edititng Dimesion text (IDW)

Not sure if this has been covered before.

In the Drawing environment when entering text/leader text, you can press "CTRL+Enter" to return to the drawing environment.

This feature is not available when editing Dimension text, or hole notes. Pressing 'CTRL+Enter' moves to the next line.
Having to grab the mouse every time to find the 'OK' button can become frustrating.

It would be nice to have this option available for both input boxes.

Yeah, this would be great.

At least they've made Tab - Enter behave consistently ... used to be, Tab - Enter only worked on dimensions, and in a text box would take you to the help.  I'd rather have Ctrl-Enter work consistently, though.

my  CTRL+Enter' when edititng Dimesion text was working.

I unplugged my keyboard to clean it and now the 'CTRL+Enter' edit text does not work anymore

any ideas on how to get it back?

love the use of that so I want it back.

my keyboard has 2 enter buttons and 2 CTRL buttons

far left CTRL+enter works but not the CTRL+enter that are right by each other

any ideas...

Have you tried a new keyboard? maybe you broke something.

I "cleaned" and re thermal pasted a Laptop the other day and broke the WIFI hard switch, still kicking myself.

That was the problem.

guess I shouldn't have cleaned it.

In the 2018 version CTRL+ENTER now exits normal text and dimension text. But still the hole/thread dimension editing box doesn't work (only new line). So I'm still waiting for a consistent behavior.
