Changing the axis of rotation element when creating a mirror

I want to be able to change the direction of the axis of rotation of an existing element in the creation of the mirror assembly, without creating a new element.

That's not a mirror.  That's a circular pattern of two.

A mirror is a mirror.  Why does it matter which axis it is about?

This is important because in the mirror assemblies do not always need a mirror of all the details. Some items you may want to deploy only to get a new mirror assembly. The program deploys such parts only as it sees fit. This option is not always suitable.

Status changed to: Implemented

Hello @filat,

I believe this request has been resolved/implemented provided a variety of options that are available from within the Mirror command (albeit, somewhat undiscoverable) .  We have provided mirror plan options allow you to define the default origin mirror plane.  Selecting mirror or reuse provides you two different results.  Additionally, during a reuse operation, you can right click on the component and select between three different planes that will produce three more results, per your need.  Please let me know if this is along the lines of what you were looking for.

Thanks!

Dan
