Decal images for complex surfaces and option for images wuith trasparency (PNG)

I don't know if there is already this idea..

At the moment there is only the ability to apply an image to plane or cylindrical surfaces.

The moment to improve this tool is arrived.

I would like to apply image to complex surface and the ability to manage PNG with trasparency channel.

I want to be able to drag and drop images into IDWs instead of the lengthly insert object method. 

Drag and dropping of comnponants onto an IDW should launch the place command too.

How about a simple right click - paste and CTRL V while we're at it.
