BEFORE AND AFTER MODELLING CHANGE TOGGLE

'Sometimes' when working on a Part model, particularly a sheet metal part, sometimes it's difficult to readily see the effect of the changes done.

In sheet metal parts where lots of holes are present it's not always clear to see the changes which have occured.

What I'd like to see is a BEFORE AND AFTER toggle button that shows the change without Inventor moving the view, - currently I use the UNDO and REDO buttons to see the change however this is a clumsy method as to see the previous model state one must UNDO the sketch also, and in doing so Inventor rotates the view orientation and the required effect is lost.

Thus the Toggle would simply show the BEFORE and AFTER model state [superimposed] on any particular view chosen, and indeed over whatever chosen view or zoom level.

Does turning this option off help with the view rotation? Regardless, I think a "change analysis feature" would be nifty.

I wouldn't want to turn off this feature as it's useful upon sketch creation, - I'm sure there used to be a radio button to enable or disable align to sketch when the sketch is edited, - I wouldn't want to switch that off either, - it would be nice though if Inventor would remember the view at which I wish to view the sketch !

So back onto the subject at hand, - I think extra functionality is called for, - it would be a feature unique to Inventor - nifty as you say !

It needs to simply toggle to show the two model states only - skipping the sketch editing stage.
