Would like to be able to do more with COG and calculated Moments Of Inertia (see attached image). For example, what is MOI of the pictured object if it is to be attached to a shaft by the slot in the end of the "handle", then rotated? As it stands, there is no way to allow Inventor do the math for this.
Also, what if I want to drill a hole at the "green" COG axis so I can create an object that can be physically spun around this existing COG axis? As it stands, these axes/planes/COG point cannot be selected by the "Work Features" functions. Axes/Planes/Points must be measured from existing 0,0,0 & the Work Features must be manually positioned based in the measurement results. If the user does not remember to select "All Decimals" as the measurement precision factor, the manually placed COG could be off.
