un-constraint-able and measureable part option

un-constraint-able and measureable part option

Hey

Feature used in an assembly were you have an huge block with the outlines of a desired form. at the moment you have enable but you can't measure or constraint anything on the part while it's faded. would be nice if you could use measure on it.

1. right click on a part in an assembly

2. select part 1 to be un-constraint-able (you can no longer add any new constraints on that part.)

3. you return to the assembly

4. you hover your mouse cursor over two overlapping parts to place a constraint, it will never select anything from part 1 but only part 2

5. when your done, right click to make part 1 constraint-able again

i apologize if my suggestion is hard to understand (English isn't my mother tongue.) or if it's already a feature I have failed to find.

Kind regards.
