Same diameter symbols

The diameter symbol should be the same, wheter it´s created automatically or from the dialog box.

hi all

I saw that this has been an issue/noticed more than 15 years ago and still nothing was done.
There are 3 symbol versions.
1) diameter symbol that is automatically place by annotation. (can't be altered)
2) diameter symbol that is added via the side symbol list annotation panel.
3)diameter symbol added via Alt+0248 that turns out the same as the second symbol, but you must go back to it and change it to CAPs as, even with Caps lock on, it's inserted in lower case.
