Goal:
To create custom stock for models that differ from a general box, cylinder or tube shape. This would include custom profiles for extrusions or imported models.
Operation:
Create a new drop-down item in the stock tab of CAM. User can choose "Custom Profile" or "Import Stock".
-If user chooses "Custom Profile", they can select contour from the model in the same .ipt and select an extrude length & direction.
-If user chooses "Import Stock", they are given the abiity to import a 3D model and place it in the position and scale of their liking. Very much the same as creating an assembly but the stock is hidden and is just used for selecting stock and stock boudaries as well as milling simulation.
